About
My name is Kathy Hofmann, and I am in the middle of a midlife crisis of sorts. My last child heads off to college in the Fall of 2009, and I recently quit a stressful, low paying but really rewarding job coordinating a volunteer group.
So what am I good at? It sounds really odd, but I’m great at “making do”. I roll with the punches. I can see what’s available, while others may lament what’s not there.
No time to grocery shop? I bet there’s a lovely dinner in your pantry if you’re willing to be adventurous. Need a quick gift? I bet there there is something in your house that can be parlayed into a cute hostess gift.
Of course there are some tricks of the trade of course, a decently stocked pantry, some choices in tablewear and linens and hopefully I’ll discover new ones along the way.
So join me, as I make good, by making do.
